When marketing their sites, most people usesearch engine optimization (SEO). There are millions of sites on the Internet and the search engines do a great job in indexing all those sites and giving users relevant information. By optimizing your site for the search engines, they are better able to send your target niche to your site. The intent of this article is to give you important SEO tips.

Keyword density is something that goes hand in hand with quality SEO. But there is a misconception that the higher your keyword appears in the content, and the more it is repeated, the better youll be able to rank for it. This is not true. When you overdo this, it leads too keyword stuffing. Your content starts to look to unnatural and spammy. This practice is as old as the hills, in internet time, and you undoubtedly will be banned for it.

The best approach is to just be as natural as you can, to write for the readers (not the search engines), and use your keywords in a natural way, too. You have to include the right keywords, that’s a given, but you really need to write so people will want to read your content and keep coming back for more. You have to strike a balance between high quality content and the right keyword density.

You already know how important it is for your business to have multiple custom tabs. But what do you put on those custom tabs? Are there rules for content you should follow that can help to ensure success for your business? You bet there are!

SEO is important for your fan page even though this is not a website.

Even though your Facebook business page is not a website per se, it can be reached via search engines like Google. And that means that search engine optimization (SEO) of your page is just as important for your business website. No matter how good your products or services are, if no one can find you, you will not get customers.

Don’t think you have to work your SEO magic on every single old post; just choose the ones that are already getting some traffic. Look at your stats package or Google Analytics and see what posts are currently popular and tweak them. The key here is too tweak gently and not give the poor, unsuspecting blog post a full on edit.

Other posts to tweak for better SEO include pillar /evergreen / foundation blog posts that you’ve spent a lot of time on and they’re so great you want everyone to read them. Of course you can also go back and optimise your pages as well.

When you work in the world of social media, one of the questions that you receive all the time is: “Do you have any suggestions on increasing my SEO?” One of the first questions that I ask back is: “Tell me what you know about SEO”, which helps me to weed out any bad information my inquirer has received. The problem with outdated or self-serving SEO information is that it is often misleading or stated as a ‘one size fits all’ concept. Wrong.

Before you partner with the first person that tells you that they understand SEO, or throw in the towel, let me share a few SEO tips with you.

Theoretically, websites do not get stronger by themselves, they need help. While aging a website is a factor for prolonged growth in rankings, today’s SEO tip shared below works by virtue of on-site evolution in tandem with elevated digital trust and authority (the real purpose of SEO).

The undeniable value of adding topical theme-relevant content is imperative for long-term positioning. Why, you might ask? Because as your website grows, your opportunity to raise your website’s SEO ceiling (the range of competitive keywords you can rank for by default/virtue of your websites trust, age and theme) shift and evolve concurrently.
