Whether you have a brick and mortar store, or sell your goods online, business to business networking can really help grow your business. One of the effective ways to do that online is by participating on a social networking site such as Facebook or Twitter.

But, should you spend the time and effort cultivating a cache of Twitter followers, or put that time into Facebook instead? It can be time-consuming to do both, so here a few strengths of each to help you decide:

You already know how important it is for your business to have multiple custom tabs. But what do you put on those custom tabs? Are there rules for content you should follow that can help to ensure success for your business? You bet there are!

SEO is important for your fan page even though this is not a website.

Even though your Facebook business page is not a website per se, it can be reached via search engines like Google. And that means that search engine optimization (SEO) of your page is just as important for your business website. No matter how good your products or services are, if no one can find you, you will not get customers.

I’m a self-proclaimed MSN nut. It’s the first website I look at every morning, and it’s likely one of the last ones I see at night. Throw in my multiple visits throughout the day and you have some idea of how much I need it. The content is refreshed every few hours and it just has a way of being able to read my mind, of knowing what I care about.

So when I saw an article entitled Seven Things Women Do On Facebook That Guys Hate I was more than a little intrigued. That got me thinking. I get questions all the time from people who want to know the difference between this network or that. They always want me to choose sides and I never can. I tell them that both networks are great for different things and very different audiences.

Gmail is hard at work restoring service to about 40,000 Gmail users after a software bug deleted their e-mail messages, folders, labels, and filters. So, while things are looking good for those users affected by the bug, this episode proves, once again, that while Web-based services may be robust, you still have to take responsibility for your own data.

Google also takes responsibility. Ben Treynor, Google’s VP Engineering and Site Reliability Czar, said on Google’s Gmail blog that Google backs up all Gmail to tape. “Since the tapes are offline, they’re protected from such software bugs,” he blogged. “But restoring data from them also takes longer than transferring your requests to another data center, which is why it’s taken us hours to get the e-mail back instead of milliseconds.”

“Over the past few years there has been a huge growth in social networking sites, such as Facebook, and this has opened the door to a whole new level of marketing possibilities. Marketers are realizing that social networking sites are literally like gold mines just waiting to be exploited, however I know that many marketers aren’t sure how to make the most of this opportunity, so in this article I’d like to show you how to make money with video marketing on Facebook.

In fact Facebook is one of the largest sites around right now and gets hundreds of thousands of visitors each and every day from all over the world. By carefully planning out your video marketing activities it is possible to exploit this large volume or traffic and get maximum exposure for your website, product or service!

However, making real money from Facebook is not as simple as uploading a video and then waiting for the profit to roll in! You must realize that there are certain things you need to bear in mind when creating your video marketing strategy for Facebook.”
