It often helps to mine Google analytics data for SEO intelligence with a specific business objective in mind. The analytics and SEO tips covered in this articles are all techniques I use to help me decide what new content to create, and whether or not my content is making an impact.

Remember that any SEO insight you derive from analytical data needs to be moderated by your social marketing and business requirements. Just because Google rates you very highly for one keyword doesn’t mean you should focus your entire SEO content strategy on that topic – you might alienate loyal readers who enjoy your coverage on a wide range of topics.

Image alt text is a text alternative for an image on a web page. Search engine robots can’t “see” images, which necessitates the need for a text alternative image alt tag that they can read to understand what the picture depicts. Writing effective image alt tags is important to your search engine optimization strategy.

In addition to helping the robots understand your site’s images, image alt text is helpful for text-only browser users, people using standard browsers on text-only mode, and the blind who use speech programs to read web pages. One article gave the following SEO tipsfor writing your image alt text.

Video marketing holds the top spot for future plans:A significant 76 percent of marketers plan on increasing their use of YouTube and video marketing, making it the top area marketers will invest in for 2012.

ROI has become a top-priority.The number-one question marketers want answered is how to track the ROI of social media. (It can be presumed that ROI expectation applies just as much to video as any other media or social channel, if not more so.)

The Challenge of Measuring ROI of Social Video

First, there’s the challenge of how to align the engagement data provided by social video key performance indicators with real-world economic objectives that nearly every business today deals with: sustainability and profitability. The problem is that too many marketers involved in social media today, including with video, ignore this. Thinking that it’s simply enough to be part of the community and engaging with others online, they are quick to dismiss that there needs to be the kind of qualifiable and quantifiable outcome.

“Blogs are still very relevant for small businesses,” says Martha McCarthy, co-founder of the Social Lights, a Minneapolis agency specializing in social media and digital marketing. “Blogs act as the voice of the brand. They’re more personal than Web copy and tend to be much more up-to-date.”

There is a certain formula for a video to go viral. It needs a bit of character, a bit of message, some purpose, and has to be relatable to people – or it can simply be very funny. The former descriptions are true for more cause-related videos as seen with the “Kony 2012″ video several months ago. But in terms of promotion, a video that strikes the right humor cord with the right people can get the legs it needs to take off and achieve a certain level of brand exposure for a business.

A recent Washington Post article, though, by Hayley Tsukayama raises the interesting fact that a disproportionate share of the biggest personalities on YouTube are minorities, which is in heavy contrast to that which is experienced on television in the country, she points out. This reality sheds some insight into the video producing and consumption landscape on the all-important YouTube platform and is worth a closer look for marketers and SEO companies that help businesses strategize videos and optimize them to rank in search engine results.

When new bloggers jump into the world of blogging they are very curious and they want to see their blog at the top of the search pages. This ambition is very impressive but everything takes time to start working according to our wishes. This post is especially written only for those who have just jumped into the world of blogging and doesn’t know much about it. It will help them start from zero and know the very basics of blog writing. Once you have launched a blog then you should follow these essential steps to get a good start from the beginning. With the passage of time you will learn more tips and tricks but for the time being you should focus on these steps.

Writing a good topic is the first step towards writing a quality article. It is possible that your post content is so bad that nobody wants to read but at the same time you are getting a lot of visitors. This is because you have nice skills of writing attractive titles for your posts. Titles count a lot. In the future when you will see your blog posts ranking in the first page of Google you will notice that articles with good titles have good click through rate than those who don’t. Titles are like advertisements. The more appealing and more legit they look, more they are likely to be clicked. It will be a good idea that you practice writing titles. Read newspaper and try to find out what makes a title appealing and attractive.
