A great video strategy can be a lot of work. Coming up with a good concept, producing the video, and editing are all vital steps in the process, but it does not end there.

All too often, businesses will invest serious time and effort into producing great video content only to lose steam once they get the videos online.

Your online video strategy should not end at the upload. Really great content can and often will go far on it’s own, but there many tactics that can be employed online to reach your video’s full potential.

  • Article Length or Why Shorter Blog Posts Might Get you More Social Media Exposure

Throughout the last couple of weeks, not a single article, published here on Reviewz ‘N’ Tips includes less than 1,500 words.

My believe was that the longer a blog post, the easier it will be to get visitors to get the point, like it and eventually subscribe for more. The truth however proved a bit different.

The articles did good and brought some relatively high traffic figures. What I realized after comparing with some previous, shorter posts though, was that there is space for improvement.

That is why I’m going to change my approach and begin writing 800-900-word articles.

  • Internet Video Marketing – Essentials for Getting Started
Written by Comments Off on Internet Video Marketing – Essentials for Getting Started

So, you want to start embedding  video on your company website. The how-to’s of this is very foreign to many especially if you haven’t had exposure to the equipment and the processes involved. Where do you start? What’s important? I put together some of the essentials of getting started with the production of your own videos from equipment to post production tips.

The first thing to consider is should I shoot it myself or outsource? We have many clients that shoot in-house and others that need help getting started. This post will focus on businesses that want to bring it in-house.

Start with considering what kind of video you will shoot. Will it be Q&A, product demos, on-location or remote? Determining the kind of video you will shoot will help you with your equipment selection, your content creation and also your post shoot production and optimization. An additional part of this process is to determine the intro, transitions and post video outro needed.

Q&A video is a very popular Internet video format and my recommendations are for this kind of shoot.

Visitors to our website often send us questions they have about link building, content creation and many other aspects of Internet Marketing. The Q&A format allows us to answer their questions and also gives us good quality content that the search engines love.

    by Lennie Appelquist.

There are slightly different markets in which businesses would like viral strategies to work online. There is the ‘business to consumer’ (B2C) space and the ‘business to business’ (B2B) space. With B2C video marketing, brands have already acknowledged that there is massive power to be harnessed in video marketing. The traditional marketing environment is seeing more success stories; even ad agencies are finally changing their ideas and grasping the fundamentals of viral strategies.

In as much as goals are being reached and measurables or return on investment are being established in the B2C content sharing space, businesses are now keen to raise an awareness of their products and services in the B2B space. However, unlike social media B2C viral video strategies where just about anything goes, businesses are approaching the potential for B2B promotion with just a little more caution. There is a slightly differently perceived gap with regards to going about this process.
